New from CCM for 2017 is the Premier R1.5 Chest Protector. Starting with the sternum, PE foam is utilized for protection. The shoulder wings feature quick-release velcro adjustment, allowing for a customized fit for the goalie. The chest area features multi-segmented EPP foams, which offers great mobility.
Moving on to the bicep/arm area, a square design is utilized in order to maximize coverage. The elbow caps feature JDP injection molded PE caps, which offer great protection. To close out the Premier R1.5's, the shoulder caps are built with molded HD foam, which also offer great protection from those hard wrist, snap and slap shots.
