Free Shipping Policy
We offer free ground shipping on orders over $99.99 CAD (pre-tax)*. This applies to most urban areas of Canada, as well as the Continental U.S.
*Some items are classified as “oversized” by our shipping couriers, however, and require a +$24.15 CAD oversized fee upon adding them to your shopping cart. Examples of oversized items include hockey/goalie sticks, goalie leg pads, hockey/goalie wheel bags, etc.
In rare circumstances, a beyond destination charge may also apply if you are in a remote location not normally serviced by our courier companies. If this is the case, we will contact you before proceeding with your order.

DELIVERY OPTIONS / ESTIMATES
We have a variety of delivery options available depending on your needs and location. Once your order is submitted, it may take up to five (5) business days for shipment. If you need your order quickly, please make note during the checkout process and we’ll do our best to get it on the road ASAP. Also consider selecting “express” delivery for time-sensitive orders.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number that will allow you to get real-time updates throughout the journey from our shipping department to your doorstep. Please keep an eye on your inbox for this information a few days after you’ve submitted your order.
We ship using multiple couriers, and always search for the fastest delivery timeframe to get your order to you as soon as possible. For Canadian shipments, we use Purolator, UPS, Canada Post, or Canpar. For U.S. shipments, we use UPS. If you require any different shipping arrangements, please contact us.
We take pride in having the lowest prices in our retail stores, and the same applies to our online store. Our $99.99 free shipping minimum order amount is competitive, but if you don’t qualify for it, don’t worry! In this event, the shipping rate you see during the checkout process will apply.
Please keep in mind that the shipping rate you will be charged is our exact cost of shipping. We DON’T mark-up our shipping costs to make money (this includes the +$24.15 oversized fee). No shipping mark-ups, nothing!
If extra charges apply (oversized, beyond destination, “express” shipping), the rates reflected are still our exact cost of shipping. Again, no mark-ups!
1. Will you ship within the Greater Vancouver Area?
With the post-pandemic “new normal,” as well as the busy/fast-paced lives of nowadays, we can ship to you if you are in Greater Vancouver. We kindly ask you though, if you are within a short drive to one of our retail shops, consider making your purchase in-store (especially if your order would qualify for “free” shipping).
We are a small family-business still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, and shipping costs are expensive (especially if we are covering the “free” shipping). We will do what it takes to get the required items in your hands, but please consider picking up in-store if you are within 15-20 minutes any of our physical locations (Coquitlam, Richmond, Surrey, or Vancouver).
2. If I live in Greater Vancouver and have purchased something from your website, can I do a return/exchange in one of your stores?
For exchanges, our in-store associates can assist with this. If you require a different size, colour, etc, you can drop into one of our stores and we can make the exchange for you. Please make sure to bring the item purchased (in its original packaging), as well as a copy of the online order receipt.
For returns/refunds however, the process is a little more complicated. As we process online order payments from our head office using Shopify Payments, the in-store associates cannot process refunds in person. They can accept the return in the store; however, your refund will be processed via our head office within five (5) business days of making your return to the store.
Lastly on returns, please note that if your order was shipped via “free” shipping, this amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
3. Do you ship internationally?
We do, however there are restrictions in place on certain brands that forbid us from shipping their products outside of Canada. Please note the following:
We can’t ship any Bauer or CCM products outside of Canada. If you are in the U.S. (or overseas), the only workaround to this policy would be if you had an address in Canada that we could ship to (family, friend, colleague), and they in-turn ship the product to you.
Apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause! As a small business, we must adhere to the shipping policies of our global suppliers. Note that this policy applies to ALL Canadian hockey retailers, in addition to U.S. hockey retailers (they cannot ship Bauer/CCM products across the border into Canada).
4. How quickly will my order ship?
It’s not uncommon for us to ship your order within one (1) business day, however in some situations our shipping warehouse needs to get your item from one of our retail stores (before processing it). In this case, it may take up to five (5) business days for us to get your order out the door.
If you need your order shipped as soon as possible (birthday present, upcoming tournament, etc), please make note of this during the checkout process and we’ll do our best to get it on the road as fast as we can. Please also consider selecting “express” delivery for time-sensitive orders.
5. Am I able to ship my order using a different courier?
We ship most of our Canadian orders via Purolator, and our U.S. orders via UPS. But if your address includes a PO Box, for example, we will make sure to ship it via Canada Post.
If you have a business shipping account that you’d like us to use, please make note of the company name and account number during the checkout process. We are willing to accommodate whichever courier needs you have, please just make note so that we can fulfill your request.
6. If I want to return an item purchased online for a refund, what is the process?
Unfortunately, due to the high cost of shipping in Canada, we are not able to cover the return shipping cost of your order (unless we shipped something to you in error) – you will be required to prepay for this cost. For a return, please contact us for a Return Authorization number.
Additionally, if you received “free” shipping on your order, your refund will be the original order amount less our cost to ship the order to you. Example:
- A customer purchases $100 worth of product and receives “free” shipping (which cost us $15 to ship). If this customer wants to return the product for a refund, they will receive $100 - $15 = $85.
Please also note that if you received free shipping on your order, it is only available once. If you need to return an item and replace it with something different, you will be required to cover the re-shipping charges. One free freight per order.
